President of Tanzania Samia Suluhu arrives in Addis Ababa fro 38th AU Summit
Addis Ababa, February 14, 2025 (FMC) – President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Samia Suluhu, has arrived in Addis Ababa noon ahead of her participation in the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union.
Upon her arrival at the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, President Suluhu was received by Ethiopia’s Minister of Urban and Infrastructure Ms. Chaltu Sani and other senior officials from the Ethiopian foreign ministry.
Meanwhile the President of Madagascar, Andry Rajoelina, has also landed in Addis Ababa this noon for the annual continental summit. Upon his arrival at Bole International Airport, President Andry Rajoelina was welcomed by Ethiopia’s Minister of Education Prof. Berhanu Nega.
Note that the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union begins tomorrow, 15th February 2025 at the AU headquarters in the Ethiopian capital.
