A team of Ethiopian Federal Police heads to Dubai for UAE SWAT Challenge

Addis Ababa, January 26, 2025 (FMC) – Commissioner General of the Ethiopian Federal Police (EFP), Demelash Gebremichael, has sent off the EFP SWAT team to compete in the UAE SWAT Challenge in Dubai.

The Ethiopian team will take part in the Tactical Operations Challenge, Assault Challenge, Officer Rescue Mission, High Tower Climb, and Obstacle Course, according to the Federal Police.

The organizing committee of the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025 announced that the challenge is scheduled to commence on 1st February at the training city in Al Ruwayyah, Dubai.

According to the committee, 100 teams from 50 countries including China will participate in this year’s SWAT challenge.
