Adwa Victory Memorial Museum attracts over 246,000 visitors since its opening

Addis Ababa, February 21, 2025 (FMC) – Over 246,000 domestic and foreign tourists have visited the Adwa Victory Memorial Museum in Addis Ababa since its inauguration in February 2024

The memorial museum’s Director General Girum Girma said that the Adwa Victory Memorial has been receiving many visitors every day since it was opened to the public.

He said that by building a memorial that commemorates the famous Adwa victory achieved through the collective sacrifices of Ethiopians, the future generation will inherit the patriotism of their ancestors.

He stated that more than 246,000 domestic and foreign tourists visited the site between March 15, 2024, and February 20, 2025, generating nearly 123 million birr income from visitors, hosting various events, and other services.
