Addis Ababa, February 13, 2025 (FMC) — Leaders of the African countries are gathering in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to push for historical injustice reparations.
The highly anticipated 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU) to be held from from February 15 to 16 under the theme: “Justice for Africans and People of African Descent through Reparations.”
Recently, the reparatory justice for African and the people of African descent has been gaining momentum worldwide.
To this effect, the 38th AU Summit is expected to come up with a bold decision on ways of advancing justice for past injustice and fostering racial healing across.
Accordingly, Heads of State and Government of of various countries have arrived in the Ethiopian capital today and the rest of African leaders are expected to arrive in Addis Ababa on Friday, 14th February.
