MoTRI, ECCSA join forces to unveil electronic public-private dialogue portal

Addis Ababa, December 16, 2024 (FMC) – The Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration (MoTRI) and the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Association (ECCSA) signed today a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to launch electronic public-private dialogue portal (E-PPD).

The MoU was signed by State Minister for Trade & Regional Integration Mr. Abdulhakim Mulu and the president of ECCSA Mr. Sebsib Abbafira.

The portal reportedly aims to facilitate a dialogue between the public and private sectors on issues related to public policy, regulation and economic development.

An electronic public-private portal is said to be a web-based platform that facilitates communication, collaboration, and information exchange between public and private entities. It serves as a digital gateway where users can access and share resources, interact with each other, and engage in various activities electronically.
