Addis Ababa, January 28, 2025 (FMC) – President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Taye Atske-Selassie is attending the Africa Energy Summit which is taking place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The Mission 300 Africa Energy Summit, which is underway in Dar es Salaam from January 27-28, 2025, is a landmark gathering focused on accelerating energy access across Africa.
Hosted by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, the African Union, the African Development Bank Group, and the World Bank Group, the Summit is said a crucial platform for governments, private sector leaders, development partners, and civil society to advance the ambitious goal of providing electricity access to 300 million people by 2030 – known as Mission 300 – a target announced by the African Development Bank Group and the World Bank Group in April 2024.
