Addis Ababa, February 27, 2025 (FMC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) has arrived in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, this morning.
Upon his arrival at Adan Abdulle International Airport in Mogadishu, Prime Minister Abiy and his delegation were warmly greeted by the President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
This is the Ethiopian Prime Minister’s first visit to the capital of Somalia since February 2023.
Their meeting will focus on enhancing security cooperation, boosting trade partnerships, and deepening diplomatic ties, as per SONNA. PM Abiy’s visit underscores both nations’ commitment to regional stability and economic collaboration.
