AU member states delegation visits Addis Ababa’s preparations for upcoming summit

Addis Ababa, February 3, 2025 (FMC) – A delegation representing African Union member states conducted a tour to assess the preparations for the upcoming AU Summit in Addis Ababa.

The delegation’s itinerary included visits to key venues such as the National Palace, Ethiopian Airlines Exclusive Silver Lounge, Addis Africa Convention Center, and the African Union Headquarters.

Aziza Geleta (PhD), Director General of Protocol Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emphasized that the tour was designed to inform participating nations about Ethiopia’s extensive preparations for the summit.

She highlighted the country’s commitment to ensuring a successful event through meticulous planning.
