Corridor development project expanded to 11 cities across Ethiopia: PM Office

Addis Ababa, January 18, 2025 (FMC) – The corridor development project that begun in Addis Ababa has now expanded to 11 cities across the country, including Gondar, the Office of Prime Minister announced.

This extensive initiative in Gondar includes the restoration of Fasil Ghebbi, upgrades to its center Piassa, improvements to drainage systems, asphalt roads, walkways, and the development of green spaces, according to the office.

As the historic city prepares to welcome visitors for the annual Timket celebration, the office shared a video featuring a glimpse of the restored Fasil Ghebbi and its newly upgraded surroundings.
