Deputy PM visits corridor dev’t works in Bahir Dar
Addis Ababa, March 3, 2025 (FMC) — The Deputy Prime Minister of Ethiopia Mr. Temesgen Truneh today observed the progress of corridor development works in Bahir Dar city, the regional capital of Amhara region.
After touring the ongoing works, Mr. Temeagen noted on social media that Bahir Dar is making significant strides in elevating its status as a prime tourism and investment destination.
It is evident that substantial efforts are being made to complete these developments, which play a crucial role in transforming Bahir Dar into a smart city, the Deputy PM said.
“These projects will not only enhance the city’s aesthetic appeal—home to Lake Tana and the Nile River—but also strengthen its position as a key hub for tourism and investment,” he underscored.
Above all, it is noteworthy that most of the important materials being used in the development of the corridor are produced in the region, Temesgen pointed out.
