ENDF troops donate medical supplies to Bay Regional Hospital in South West State of Somalia
Addis Ababa, March 2, 2025 (FMC) – Members of Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) deployed in the African Union Support and Stabilization Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM) donated essential medical supplies on Friday, including antibiotics, syringes, gloves, masks, bandages, and catheters, to Bay Regional Hospital in South West State, Somalia, AUSSOM said in a social media post.
AUSSOM Level 2 Hospital Commander, Lt. Col. Dr Terefe Zemedkune handed over the items to support vulnerable communities, with South West State’s Health Minister Saed Ahmed Ali thanking AUSSOM for improving access to healthcare in the region.
ENDF troops also provide free medical services to residents at Baidoa’s Level 2 hospital as part of their Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) efforts, it was indicated.
