Ethiopia-Cuba friendship is enduring – Foreign Minister

Addis Ababa, March 12, 2025 (FMC) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Eduardo Rodriguez Parrilla, who arrived earlier today for an official visit, this afternoon laid a wreath of flowers at the Ethio-Cuba Friendship Park in Addis Ababa.

As part of his official tour, the Foreign Minister visited the Park to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations between Ethiopia and Cuba.

On the occasion, FM Parilla said, Ethiopia-Cuba friendship is enduring through time.

During the visit the FM was accompanied by the Deputy Director-General of European and American Affairs, Ambassador Abraham Mengistu and other Ethiopian Foreign Ministry officials, members of the Ethiopia-Cuba Peoples’ Friendship Association, as well as alumni who studied in Cuba.
