Ethiopia, Jordan commit to advance bilateral ties
Addis Ababa, March 3, 2025 (FMC) – Ambassador of Ethiopia to Jordan with permanent residence in Abu Dhabi, Oumer Hussein, met and held a discussion with Ambassador Mohamad Abu Windi, Head of African Affairs Department of the Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry of Jordan, on March 2, 2025,
According to the Ethiopian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the discussion focused on enhancing bilateral relations between Ethiopia and Jordan.
The two Officials discussed the importance of revitalizing bilateral relations through Political Consultations, Joint Ministerial Meetings and exchange of visits to deepen mutual understanding and cooperation between the two countries.
Economic matters were also a key point of discussion, with a focus on improving trade exchanges and investment. Both parties expressed a shared goal of increasing the volume of Trade exchanges and agreed to organize investment forums to achieve this objective.
Furthermore, the two officials engaged in a constructive exchange of views on regional developments in the Horn of Africa and Middle East, aiming to enhance their understanding of the current geopolitical landscape in the region.
Concluding the discussions, the two officials agreed to establish a dedicated working group to coordinate and follow up on the issues raised.
