Ethiopia, South Sudan agree to expedite efforts on electrification projects

Addis Ababa, January 23, 2025 (FMC) – Ambassador Nebil Mahdi held a meeting with Sultan Lam Tungwar Undersecretary at the Ministry of Energy and Dams of the Republic of South Sudan.

They two sides have discussed issues regarding Green Electrification Projects and joint initiatives of electric grids that will interconnect the two countries.

Both sides agreed to expedite ongoing efforts on electrification projects and sustainable energy development.
