Ethiopia, South Sudan discuss ways to strengthening economic cooperation

Addis Ababa, March 28, 2025 (FMC) – The State Minister of Finance, Eyob Tekalegn, discussed with South Sudan Minister of Finance and Acting Minister of Petroleum, Hon. Dr. Marial Dongrin Ater at Ministry of Finance.

The two sides discussed on strengthening bilateral economic cooperation which benefits the neighboring countries people in infrastructure, energy, connectivity and related development endeavors that are crucial to both Ethiopia and South Sudan.

Moreover, Eyob Tekalegn and Hon. Marial Dongrin Ater discussed on regional issues focusing on regional peace and security giving priority to sustainable peace which is the foundation for lasting economic growth and development.
