Ethiopia welcomes outcome of Joint Summit of Heads of State, Gov’t of EAC & SADC in Dar es Salaam

Addis Ababa, February 9, 2025 (FMC) – Ethiopia welcomes the outcome of the Joint Summit of the Heads of State and Government of the EAC and SADC held in Dar es Salaam, the United Republic of Tanzania, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement.

Ethiopia commends Samia Suluhu Hassan, His Excellency William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya and Chairperson of the EAC, and His Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe and the Chairperson of SADC for their leadership in convening the successful meeting, the Foreign Ministry underscored.
