Ethiopian ambassador discusses with Senator Ted Cruz to cement Ethiopia-U.S. ties
Addis Ababa, April 5, 2025 (FMC) — Ethiopian Ambassador to the United States of America, Binalef Andualem, held talks with former Congressman Jack Kingston and Senator Ted Cruz at the Ethiopian Embassy in Washington, D.C.
Initially, Ambassador Binalef had a productive meeting with former Congressman Jack Kingston, where they engaged in an insightful exchange of ideas aimed at enhancing the relationship between Ethiopia and the United States.
Their discussion focused on strategies to foster better collaboration between Congress and the Administration to achieve this goal.

Similarly, Ambassador Binalef held a productive meeting with Senator Ted Cruz, who chairs the Africa subcommittee of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

The two sides exchanged views on the work of the Africa subcommittee and its role in enhancing U.S.-Africa relations.
