Ethiopian envoy meets President William Ruto of Kenya

Addis Ababa, February 10, 2025 (FMC) — Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Kenya, General Bacha Debele, attended Annual Diplomatic Briefing and met President William Ruto on February 10, 2025, at State House, Nairobi, Kenya.

On the event held in State House, in Nairobi, President William Ruto delivered Annual Address to Heads of Missions and International Organizations based in Nairobi outlining Kenya’s 2025 foreign policy priorities of peace and security, economic diplomacy, climate resilience and deeper diaspora engagement.

During the briefing the President apprised significant progress  made in various sectors of agriculture, housing, healthcare, MSMEs, etc.

He further stated that Kenya is dedicated to advancing the EAC Community’s objectives, strengthening intra-regional trade, and addressing security challenges with in the region.

President William Ruto underscored that Kenya’s diplomatic strategy focused on advancing national interest and strengthening collaboration with neighbouring countries as well as promoting mutual prosperity.
