Ethiopia’s economic reforms clearly helping improve the investment climate: IMF MD Kristalina Georgieva

Addis Ababa, February 9, 2025 (FMC) – Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) held discussions with business leaders and entrepreneurs in Addis Ababa.

Regarding her meeting with the business community, the IMF Managing Director stated that the recent economic reforms clearly helping improve the investment climate.

She highlighted the importance of keeping momentum with an efficient tax and regulatory environment in paving the way for strong private-sector growth.
