Finland commits to strengthen support for Ethiopia’s education sector

Addis Ababa, December 27, 2024 (FMC) – Finland has reaffirmed its dedication to bolstering educational initiatives in Ethiopia.

In a meeting between Ayelech Eshetie, the State Minister for Education, and Sinikka Antila, Finland’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, the two officials discussed topics of mutual interest and explored ways to enhance cooperation within the education sector.

During the discussion, Minister Ayelech expressed gratitude to the Finnish government for its support of special needs education in Ethiopia and emphasized the importance of further collaboration in this area.

Ambassador Antila responded by highlighting the growing momentum in bilateral educational cooperation, assuring that efforts would be made to elevate this partnership to new heights.
