FM Gedion holds talks with Iran’s Special Envoy

Addis Ababa, February 24, 2025 (FMC) – Ethiopia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gedion Timothewos, held talks with Ambassador Eshagh Al Habib, Assistant and Special Envoy to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at his office today.

It was noted during their talks that Ethiopia and Iran are countries with ancient civilizations and cultures.

The two sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations and exchanged views on future areas of cooperation.

Ethiopia and Iran have marked 75 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
