Guests attending 38th AU Summit begin arriving in Addis Ababa
Addis Ababa, February 10, 2025 (FMC) — Guests taking part in the 46th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council and the 38th Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union began arriving in Addis Ababa today.
Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Algeria and Burundi, Ahmed Attaf and Albert Shingiro, respectively, arrived today. Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, they were warmly welcomed by State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Birtukan Ayano and Director General of Protocol Affairs, Dr. Aziza Geleta.
The Foreign Ministers of Comoros, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Nigeria also arrived in Addis Ababa to attend the Executive Council scheduled for 12-13 February this week, as per the Ethiopian foreign ministry.
