Leaders of Algeria, Republic of Congo and Zambia have arrived in Addis Ababa for AU Summit

Addis Ababa, February 13, 2025 (FMC) — The President of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of Zambia, Hakainde Hichilema, and President of Republic of the Congo, Denis Sassou N’Guesso, have arrived in Addis Ababa this evening to take part in the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union.

Upon their arrival at Bole International Airport, the leaders were warmly received by senior government officials.

Recall that leaders of various African countries have already entered the Ethiopian capital to participate in the annual continental event. Other African leaders are also expected to arrive in Addis Ababa this evening and tomorrow ahead of the AU Summit.
