MFA Ethiopia launches 6th round of junior diplomats’ training program
Addis Ababa, March 31, 2025 (FMC) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially launched the sixth round of the junior diplomats’ training program at the Ethiopian Civil Service University today.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Gedion Timotheos, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Bikila Hurisa, the Minister Coordinator of the Center for Democratic System Building at the Office of the Prime Minister; Mr. Jafar Bedru, Executive Director of Institute of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Nigus Taddese, President of the Ethiopian Civil Service University; and the junior diplomats.
It was stated that the training will take place at the Civil Service University over the next four months.
During the program, the trainees will receive policy-oriented, academic, and practical training.
Engaging discussions have commenced as participants of the 6th Batch Pre-Service Diplomatic Training Program exchange ideas on key global and regional issues, according to the Institute of Foreign Affairs (IFA).
