PM Abiy Ahmed meets with Speaker of the Federation Council of Federal Assembly of Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko

Addis Ababa, February 18, 2025 (FMC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) met with Valentina Matvienko, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and her delegation this evening.

Regarding the meeting, the Premier noted that, “It was a valuable opportunity to discuss and explore Ethio-Russia relations.”

Valentina Matvienko arrived in Addis Ababa today for an official visit. During her two-day official visit, the Speaker will meet with high-level government officials.
