PM Abiy Ahmed, President Hassan S. Mahmoud of Somalia discuss various matters

Addis Ababa, February 16, 2025 (FMC) — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed holds a discussion with President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud of Somalia on the sidelines of the second day of the 38th AU Summit in the Ethiopian capiital.

Following his meeting with Somalia’s president, Abiy noted in a social media post that they discussed various matters.

“A renewed partnership requires consistent cultivation, the Ethiopian premier underscored.

Note that the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union is expected to conclude today.
