PM Abiy inaugurates ET Mining Dev’t’s coal washing plant

Addis Ababa, January 24, 2025 (FMC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) today inaugurated the coal washing plant of ET Mining Development Co., Ltd., which is established in the Dawuro Zone of Southwest Ethiopia People’s Region.

After inaugurating the plant, the Prime Minister shared plenty of pictures on his social media page showing that the premier and his delegation received a warm welcome in the area upon arrival. Images also show that the coal washing plant has gone operational following the grand inauguration.

“This facility not only enhances national coal production but also provides significant employment opportunities for local residents,” Premier Abiy noted.
