PM Abiy visits wheat cultivation in the lowlands of East Hararge.

Addis Ababa, March 11, 2025 (FMC) — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) observed the progress of wheat cultivation in the lowland areas of the East Hararge Zone of Oromia regional state this morning.

“With dedication and effort, Ethiopia can not only sustain itself but also contribute to others,” Premier Abiy noted in a social media post, calling for continuation of the momentum of this important work.

During his visit to the area, Prime Minister was joined by the Chief Administrator of the Oromia Regional State, Mr. Shimelis Abdisa, and federal, regional and zonal official.

Upon arrival, Prime Minister Abiy was greeted by a huge crowd hailing from all walks of life, social media post footages from the regional president office show.
