PP vice president holds talks with Moroccan RNI Party representative

Addis Ababa, January 30, 2025 (FMC) – Head of the Democracy System Building Coordination Center with the rank of Deputy Prime Minister and Vice President of the ruling Prosperity Party, Mr. Adem Farah, held talks with Prof. Mohamed Sadiki, representative of Morocco’s ruling National Rally of Independents (RNI) Party.

Mr. Adem Farah received Prof. Mohamed Sadiki, who arrived in Addis Ababa yesterday evening to attend the Prosperity Party’s second congress, at his office today.

On the occasion, Mr. Adem said that his party’s second congress is a time to reaffirm the achievements made and renew the commitments to the future.

He also stated that the Prosperity Party has demonstrated that it is the voice of all Ethiopians by fulfilling its promises to the people.

Adem also noted that the Prosperity Party-led government has recorded tangible results in achieving rapid economic growth in Ethiopia and promoting solidarity and cooperation among the people.

He stated that Ethiopia and Morocco are countries with a long history and that their cooperation at the party level will continue to be strengthened.

For his part, Prof. Mohamed Sadiki expressed his happiness at being present at the Prosperity Party congress.

Reciprocating Mr. Adem’s comments, Prof. Sadiki reminded that Ethiopia and Morocco enjoyed longstanding relations and will continue to work together on renewable energy, agriculture and climate change.

According to him, the two countries will also work together in natural resources and other sectors by strengthening their bilateral relations.

He also expressed that the party-to-part cooperation between PP and RNI will continue to be strengthened by extending an invitation to the Ethiopian ruling party officials to pay a working visit to Morocco.
