Premier Abiy holds talks with presidents of Ghana, Burundi

Addis Ababa, February 16, 2025 (FMC) — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) today held bilateral discussions with President John Dramani Mahama of Ghana and President Évariste Ndayishimiye of Burundi on the sidelines of the second day of 38th AU Summit in Addis Ababa.

During the bilateral meetings, Premier Abiy and the Burundian and Ghanaian presidents shared common concerns and explored opportunities for the continent, reaffirming their respective countries’ commitment to enhanced cooperation.

Note that the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union is expected to conclude today.
