Pres. Taye signs book of condolences for former President of Namibia
Addis Ababa, February 27, 2025 (FMC) – The FDRE President Taye Atske-Selassie today signed a book of condolences honouring the former President of Namibia, Sam Nujoma, the Office of the President of Ethiopia disclosed in a social media post.
On the occasion, President Taye noted that the late Dr. Nujoma will be remembered as a founding father of Namibia and a leader who transformed his country into a middle income nation.
Hailed as Namibia’s “founding father”, Nujoma passed away at the age of 95 on 8th February 2025 night following a three-week hospitalisation in the capital, Windhoek.
