President Hassan S. Mohamud of Somalia, Vice President of Uganda arrive in Addis for AU Summit
Addis Ababa, February 14, 2025 (FMC) – The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has arrived in Addis Ababa this afternoon to attend the the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union.
Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud was warmly welcomed by Ethiopia’s Minister of Industry, Mr. Melaku Alebel.
Similarly, the Vice-President of the Republic of Uganda, Jessica Alupo has arrived in Addis Ababa this afternoon to take part in the 38th AU Summit. Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, the Vice-President was warmly welcomed by Ethiopia’s Minister of Urban and Infrastructure, Ms. Chaltu Sani.
It is worth noting that the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union is set to begin tomorrow, 15th February 2025 at the AU headquarters in the Ethiopian capital.
