Prosperity Party concludes its 2nd congress

Addis Ababa, February 2, 2025 (FMC) — Ethiopia’s ruling Prosperity Party has concluded its second congress today with election of the members of its central committee.

Recall that Prosperity Party’s second congress kicked off in Addis Ababa on Friday 31st January in the presence of the party’s leaders, members, supporters, representatives and leaders of parties from different countries across the world, and invited guests.

The party’s second congress has passed key decisions on its second day.

Earlier today, PP’s second congress has also re-elected Abiy Ahmed (PhD) as its president and Mr. Temesgen Truneh and Mr. Adem Farah as vice presidents.
