Transforming Dire Dawa City: PM Office unveils final feature of corridor dev’t project visual series

Addis Ababa, February 11, 2025 (FMC) – The Office of the Prime Minister has announced the completion of the visual series highlighting key corridor development projects in Ethiopia, with the final feature focusing on the city of Dire Dawa. A significant corridor development project is currently in progress, covering a distance of 8.54 kilometers and divided into five different lots.

The development initiative encompasses a range of enhancements for the city, including drainage works, walkway construction, dedicated cycle lanes, greenery projects, and parking areas. Additionally, the project features the construction of a sports academy.

This comprehensive project is expected to improve transportation infrastructure and other social services and enhance the overall quality of life for residents in Dire Dawa.
