Unity University graduates 2,000 students in 42nd Graduation Ceremony

Addis Ababa, February 15, 2025 (FMC) – Unity University held its 42nd graduation ceremony today, awarding degrees to students in various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Addis Ababa and Dessie cities. An additional ceremony is scheduled to take place tomorrow at the university’s Adama City campus.

A total of 2,000 students are expected to graduate from the university during the two-day event. Dr. Arega Yrdaw, President of the University, presented awards to outstanding graduates and staff members who have demonstrated exceptional work performance.

With a workforce of 811 personnel, Unity University currently has an enrollment of 16,344 students across its undergraduate, postgraduate, and technical and vocational education and training programs.

The university has announced plans to hold its 43rd graduation ceremony at the end of the next Ethiopian summer season, marking another significant milestone in its academic calendar.
